About Anusha — The Heart Behind Shwet Kamal Ayurveda
Anusha Kabra Rathi, the founder of Shwet Kamal Ayurveda, is a certified expert in Natural Skin and Hair Care from the School of Natural Skincare, London. Her journey from luxury marketing to Ayurveda is a story of passion, purpose, and transformation.
Anusha holds an MBA in Luxury Marketing from EBS Paris, where she discovered her true calling—to create clean, conscious, and effective Ayurvedic personal care products.
She also earned her MBA from FLAME University, Pune, and spent 9 years in advertising, collaborating with brands like Audi, Adani Wilmar, and Wagh Bakri during her tenure at 94.3 MY FM (Dainik Bhaskar Group).

Our ancestors have spoken about Ayurveda in very high regards, however we have not been able to experience that up to the mark results from Ayurvedic remedies. One of the reasons is the low quality raw materials in the market as best of the qualities are all exported.
We take raw materials from 5 star exporters and create products using oldest Ayurvedic methods that include mantra chanting, yantra to shield the energy field etc and give products that perform beyond what is expected from them. So, we invite you to come and experience and see how magically Ayurveda works, giving you a lot of small delights during the process as side benefits (instead of side effects) along with solving the core problem.
Our Vision
How do you get benefitted from Shwet Kamal Ayurveda Products:
We do not have any retail mark ups, our major investment goes into procuring high quality raw materials and you pay for that. Once you use it, your skin / hair will gradually tell you how much they are loving it.
In special cases we also offer a consultation to be able to understand root cause of the problem before recommending the regime to you, just to be sure that you get the solution of your problem. We would also explain in detail how each ingredient will work, what is the timeline you should look for getting results. Generally results starts showing from 21 days to 3 months depending on the product.
Our Ethics
Shwet Kamal Ayurveda is a home grown brand formulating Ayurvedic (100% plant-based) cosmetic products based on principles of sustainability. After learning formulation we started off making products for ourselves and as people around saw a transformation in skin and hair, requested we also start selling, and Shwet Kamal Ayurveda was born !
Today Shwet Kamal Ayurveda is build on the pillar “We will only sell what we love to use ourselves.”
Now what is meant by making products based on the principles of sustainability?
All our ingredients are either COSMOS or ECOCERT certified. COSMOS and ECOCERT are worldwide labels that verify that products are organic / natural and meet strict standards for sustainability. It guarantees that products are made using best possible ways to make products which contains best quality ingredients without causing harm to environment. This label is given by COSMOS (UK) and ECOCERT (France).
Firstly our products are pesticides free. Pesticides and non-organic ingredients containing harmful hormones which causes neurological problems, cancer, infertility, nausea, vomiting, diarrheah, asthma, allergies, even birth defects and other skin problems. Our products contains only natural ingredients so they balance the body, flow good nutrients into the body makes it healthy, energetic and full of life. Our ingredients are also GMO-free (genetically modified organisms) and GE (Genetically engineered) where plants are altered in ways that cannot occur in natural environment.
Hence one can be rest assured that the ingredients used in the products are one or the other form of the food that we eat in regular life.
Organic farms which are free of pesticides also has many butterflies and bees as pollinators compared to non organic ones , and once the water is released in the lakes or rivers no layer of pesticide is formed, which otherwise enters into our drinking water.
We do not hide any ingredient.
In India, we are yet to have a government body that would govern the term natural. Hence there is no compulsion on manufacturers to disclose all the ingredients on product label. But the rule is, whichever ingredient is disclosed should be present in the product. For.e.g. in a product there are 15 ingredients, but only 4 are written on the packaging. So if given for testing, these 4 products should be present as one of the ingredients.
At Shwet Kamal, we disclose all our ingredients on our labels, hence our products do not have any hidden or secret ingredients. The world today is on internet and consumers are free to search the derivates of any of the ingredients we use. Only because we are confident of what we make, we do not hesitate is furnishing this information.
There are so many natural products sellers in the market, why trust Shwet Kamal ?
Because India is yet to have a government body that would govern the term natural, currently the manufacturer is free to use it at one’s own will. Ideally even if 2 ingredient out of 20 are natural ingredient, the product can still be called “contains natural ingredients.” This is where the buyer buys a natural product but does not get the result, or problem still persists. We claim that all our ingredients are 100% plant based and ECOCERT / COSMOS certified. This means that none of our ingredient is ‘not natural.’
I have used many natural products with all ingredients natural still have not received results?
Many times active ingredients are used as marketing ingredients. Active ingredients are star performers of any product and marketing ingredient is that one ingredient among all others which is used to market the product.
Now suppose a product has hyaluronic acid as active ingredient, and it has to be upto 2% to be able to give a good result. However, it is at 0.01% in the product, and the product is named as ‘rich in hyaluronic acid’ in this case, a person will buy the product seeing this ingredient, but might not get results simply because it is not in sufficient quantity. This is often a case, which leads to two perceptions among user: 1) People say hyaluronic acid is good for skin but it doesn’t work on my skin, 2) I have used natural products but I don’t see any results.
